Vozelu vs Anki
Anki schedules cards you build or download. What a card asks is up to the deck.
Vozelu ships the cards. Checked sentences, one word missing, read aloud, in order of how common the word is. You write every review from memory.

What Vozelu does differently
- Nothing to build. The sentences, the audio and the order are already there.
- You type the answer and the app grades it, instead of flipping a card and grading yourself.
- One thing to do when you open it: practise.
Questions people ask
- Is Vozelu like Anki?
- Both space your reviews. In Anki you build or download a deck and grade yourself after flipping each card. In Vozelu the cards are already there: a checked Spanish sentence with one word missing, read aloud by a native voice, and you type the word and get graded.
- Do I have to make my own cards?
- In Anki, yes, or you download a deck someone else made. In Vozelu, no. The words come in order of how common they are in Spanish, with a sentence and audio for each.
- Which Spanish frequency deck should I use in Anki?
- Shared Spanish frequency decks on AnkiWeb are uneven and most have no ratings, so check a few cards for wrong meanings before you commit. If you would rather not check, Vozelu ships the same idea with every sentence checked.
- Is Vozelu free like Anki?
- Yes, right now. Anki is free on desktop and Android and costs $24.99 once on iOS.
