Vozelu vs Busuu
Busuu is a course in about 15 languages. Native speakers in its community correct your writing, and the app keeps a leaderboard.
Vozelu has no community and no leaderboard. It checks your typed answer against a checked sentence, and schedules the next one from how you did.

| Feature | Vozelu | Busuu |
|---|---|---|
| How you answer | You write every review from memory. In dialogues, you say your lines aloud or type them. On iPhone, you type them for now. | Taps and picks, written and spoken exercises corrected by the community |
| What you see | A checked sentence with one word missing, and its translation | A lesson step with a video of a speaker, a word, or a dialogue |
| Schedule | Spaced repetition, built from your answers | A course path, with a review section |
| Voice | A voice reading of every sentence. When you speak in a dialogue, we check that you said every word. | Videos of native speakers, computer voices elsewhere |

What Busuu users say
Three years on. Subscription won't sync between devices. Progress won't sync. But at least the useless leader board points sync. Excellent priorities.
Google Play reviewThe ads to buy premium are egregiously in your face, popping up at least 10 times per lesson, completely covering the screen.

What Vozelu does differently
- No ads, no leaderboard, no points. A session is the sentences and your answers.
- Your progress is one account. Phone, tablet and laptop see the same history.
- Every sentence is read aloud by a native voice, and you can play it as often as you like.
